This seed starts off in a plains biome, and not too far away is a village. After you get done enjoying the fair weather, you can go on a winter get-away to the cold taiga, ice plains spikes, and a little igloo. (But you won’t be the only one staying in the igloo. Unfortunately, you have roomies in the basement.)
Minecraft PC 1.11 Seed: 1179340544585804558
When you first spawn in the plains biome, go to your right and you should see the village. This village spreads out over a river and into the forest. It doesn’t have a blacksmith, but you can still find plenty of food in the crop plots and the varieties of buildings mean you have a variety of villagers to trade with.
The Cold Taiga and Ice Plains Spikes
Once you get tired of the fair weather (and the rain), you can travel east to find cold taiga forests and ice plains spikes. These two biomes stretch on for awhile, so there is plenty of snow for the winter-lover.
The ice spikes are fascinating to walk through. You’ll find anywhere from short stubby blocks to tall, thin spires made of pure ice. This biome definitely adds a level of interesting to the all-white terrain.
The Winter Get-Away Igloo
If you’re after the full winter get-away experience, there’s even an igloo nearby to stay in. This cozy little snow dwelling is located at 367 / 70 / 99.
Inside it’s equipped with a bed, a white rug, a crafting bench, a redstone torch, and even a furnace to keep you warm.
However, if you lift the rug, you’ll find the trapdoor entrance to the basement. Deep underground lays a secret lab that looks like it had some scary experiments going on based on the caged villager and zombie villager. On the plus side, whoever left this igloo also left a chest full of apples, coal, gold nuggets, and a golden apple.
You can keep exploring either the fair-weather biomes or this snowy terrain to see if you can find anything else interesting for yourself. Just remember, don’t feed the polar bears!
