This seed has two villages close to each other that both contain blacksmith shops. To make it even better, one village is next to a ravine that contains a fossil. Fossils are rare structures that only show up in a couple of biomes.
Minecraft PC 1.10.X Seed: -6980839137331707558
When you spawn, you’ll be in a plains biome facing the ocean. To find the two villages, turn around so you face north and walk straight in that direction. After a bit of walking, you’ll come to an area with a forest in front of you and a desert next to you. If you go through the forest, you’ll find the savanna biome.
The Savanna Village
After going left in the savanna biome, you can find the village at -163 / 77 / -210. This large village has quite a few buildings, crop plots, and villagers.
It also has a blacksmith. Inside the chest, you can find apples, bread, obsidian, and an iron sword.
The Desert Village
To find the second village, walk back east into the desert biome. You’ll find it at 125 / 69 / -203. This is also a pretty big village, but it’s more spread out than the first.
Right in the center you can find the blacksmith shop. This one will give you more bread and apples, but it also has saplings, a gold ingot, an iron pickaxe, and iron boots. That iron pickaxe will come in handy for the next part of this seed.
The Ravine and Fossil
You might have noticed the ravine at 103 / 65 / -195 while you were on your way to the second village. (I hope you didn’t fall in!)
On top of containing lava, waterfalls, and cave openings like the average ravine, it also has a fossil. Deserts are one of the two biomes that will spawn a fossil, and since this ravine is half in a desert, it spawned one.
To find the fossil, look along the top of the western side of the ravine. You should see it around 113 / 57 / -141. Fossils are made of bone blocks and sometimes they have coal ore blocks to replace areas where bone should have been. You can excavate the fossil to see the whole thing. There are eight shapes of fossils you can find, and this is one of the skull varieties.
I hope you enjoy digging up your very own fossil! Then you can explore for yourself to see if you can make any other exciting finds!
