Most seeds that spawn you on an island in the middle of the ocean leave you to try to fight for survival. This one may spawn you on some islands, but it gives you everything you need to not only survive but thrive too. You spawn on an island with building materials next to an island with food. Then a short swim away is a mushroom island biome full of food, caves, and asylum from monsters.
Minecraft PC 1.11.X Seed: 4588975552582455796
You spawn on a fairly small island, but the good news is that it’s covered in trees. This means that right after you spawn you can begin making tools, a boat, and even a small shelter. This is a vital starting point if you’re going to thrive on this seed.
To the west of the spawn island, you can find a smaller island. It only has a little sand and grass, but it also has a few pigs. There should be enough pigs to breed and kill for food. Just be careful not to fall in the hole with lava, and definitely don’t let your pigs fall in.
Though the first two islands give you what you need to survive, they’re very small and it’s easy to get bored with them. The next island stop is where the thriving part of this seed really comes in.
South and to the west of the pig island, you can begin to see the mushroom island. This island is much bigger than any of the other ones so far. There’s room to build houses and other buildings, and there are giant mushrooms to expand your menu options.
The mooshrooms walking around are another valuable resource. You can shear them to harvest the mushrooms on their back, and after they’ve been sheared, they turn into regular cows which give you milk, leather, and beef.
One of the best benefits of the mushroom island biome is that no hostile mobs like creepers or zombies can spawn naturally on it. Even if you explore the caves on the island, you don’t have to worry about monsters. That makes mining on this island much easier, and there are plenty of caves around for you to do so in.
These three islands are only the beginning of this seed. Keep exploring the open ocean for yourself to see what other kinds of islands you can find!
