This 1.9 seed has several features that make it worth playing. It contains beautiful extreme hills, a small village, and an underground ravine. The ravine may be the highlight of this map since it contains valuable ores. All of the features are fairly close to each other, and that makes it easier to travel between them all.

When you first spawn, you’ll be on one side of a Taiga island. Go north through the trees until you reach a sandbar with a few trees. From there you should see a small patch of swamp and extreme hills beyond the swamp.
This small set of extreme hills has tall peaks covered with snow, and the tallest peak brushes with the cloud.
Like any extreme hills, it has plenty of floating stone, caves to explore, and lava and waterfalls.
If you continue to go north through the extreme hills, you’ll come to the plains, and a small village will be sitting right in your path. This is a very small village as far as villages go, but it still offers a few crop plots to get food from, a library, two butcher shops, a church, and one house.
Beyond this village to the northwest is where the second set of extreme hills are. This biome is larger than the first. That gives you more room to explore if you prefer the extreme hills biome.
If the extreme hills and village are underwhelming for you, there’s one more feature to note on this map. On the north side of the village is a pond with a hole in it.
If you lower yourself down the waterfall, you’ll find yourself in an underground ravine. This ravine holds several water and lava falls characteristic to ravines. Ravines make it easy to find cave openings, and they often hold a lot of ore out in the open.
This ravine has mostly iron and coal, making it slightly boring for some. However, it does have one redeeming ore: Lapis Lazuli. You can find more than one section of it if you search through the ravine near the bottom.
I hope you enjoy exploring!
