Minecraft Deep Ocean Seeds

Each Minecraft Deep Ocean Seed listed below has a deep ocean biome at or near the game’s spawn point.

Survive Rabbit Island!

Rabbits! That’s what you get when you spawn on this 1.8x seed. You’re not alone on this small deep ocean island. There’s rabbits hopping around the flatland that has nothing more to offer than some sunflowers. There are neighboring islands off in all directions, so it shouldn’t be too difficult to get resources to survive.

Another Minecraft 1.8 Ocean Monument Seed

Here’s another ocean monument seed for Minecraft update 1.8.0. This seed spawns you on a very small island with no resources. When the game spawns you, you’re looking in the direction of the ocean monument (if you look in the water you can see the shape of the upper part of the structure underwater). Digging below spawn you’ll want to be careful – this is one of those ‘death by lava’ seeds. The lava isn’t that deep, either.

Minecraft 1.8 Ocean Monument, Guardian Seed

A guardian mob (the aquatic creature resembling a pufferfish) and an ocean monument are both just offshore of the spawn point of this Minecraft 1.8.0 seed. When you spawn you’ll be up in a tree. Take note of your orientation as the direction you’re facing in the direction of the ocean monument (some call it an ocean temple) which is inhabited with squid and guardians.

Deep Ocean Survival Island

This deep ocean survival island sets you on the sandy edge of a barren island. On the surface there’s just about nothing to help you get your world going (there are sheep in 1.8 actually). Beyond the occasional squid swimming by in the water, there is some good news on the horizon. There are visible islands within swimming distance. And, you can see that some at least have trees to get wood from.
