This seed is for the ravine lover and the cave explorer. You spawn right by two intersecting ravines, and you can find a large ravine system if you travel a little. If those don’t give you enough rare ores and caves to explore, there is another small intersecting ravine system and two villages elsewhere in the seed.
Minecraft PC 1.10 Seed: 1992173226682770618
When you first spawn, you’ll be under a tree and facing the side of an extreme hill. Walk left around the hill until you find a hole in the ground with a waterfall descending into it. This will drop you into the first ravine.
This long skinny ravine doesn’t have rare ores, but it’s riddled with caves worth exploring. You can follow the length of the ravine to the south to find two lava falls that go down into a second ravine.
This one holds the first of the rare ores on this seed. If you go to the floor of the ravine, you’ll find lapis lazuli, redstone, emeralds, and even diamonds.
The Great Ravine System
To find the large ravine system, head south from the extreme hills. Go through the swamp, and once you reach the second set of extreme hills, you’ll need to head west along the river. Part of the river flows down into the opening, creating a waterfall to follow. The approximate coordinates are -185 / 63 / 568.
This great ravine system is easy to get lost in because it consists of many caves and intersecting ravines. You start in a partially exposed ravine. This doesn’t have any rare ores, but it leads to several that do.
One ravine with rare ore is beyond the lava fall right next to the waterfall you followed down. If you go down into the cave that this lava fall fills, you’ll pass gold and red mushrooms on your left. Keep going until you see the glow of lava through one opening.
This lava-filled ravine has emeralds, redstone, gold, and diamonds. All of the lava falls and pools can make it tricky to retrieve these treasures, so be careful.
To find the rest of the ravines in this complicated system, go back out to the partially exposed ravine. Follow it to the south, and you’ll come to a cave with a small waterfall.
Following it through to the east will spit you out into the next ravine. On the west end of the lava pool at the bottom, you’ll find diamonds.
When you follow the ravine along to the south, you’ll find it ends in the middle of another, perpendicular ravine.
The ravines don’t end here. Continue straight forward to find a couple openings that lead into a parallel ravine. This is another very large one with lapis lazuli, gold, redstone, emeralds, diamonds, and lots of lava.
If that large ravine system wasn’t enough for you, west of it are two villages near each other at the approximate coordinates of -435 / 62 / 575 and -465 / 65 / 389. The second village has a blacksmith with some gold and iron loot.
To get more gold and diamonds, you can find two more intersecting ravines at around 280 / 69 / 416, southeast of where you spawned. For the gold, go to the south end of the lower ravine, and you’ll see a one block opening to dig through to get to the gold.
You have to do a lot of traveling to find all of the features of this map, but the rare ores make it well worth it. Happy exploring! (And don’t get lost!)
