The Mesa Biome

Dry Climate Tour [Village, Temple, Mesa] – 1.10.X Seed

This seed is a bit varied with the different features it has, but for the most part, they’re all in dry climates. (Minus the plains village) There is a village with a blacksmith, a desert temple, and a mesa biome. It all starts with spawning next to the village.

The Village

This plains village has plenty of crop plots to keep you full as you explore the rest of the seed. It also has a blacksmith, but it doesn’t have a very exciting chest.

You can get five obsidian, apples, bread, and iron boots from the chest. If you’re looking for something more exciting, don’t worry. This is just the beginning.

The Desert Temple

To find the desert temple, walk south from the village toward the coordinates 378 / 64 / 567. You’ll probably see the mesa biome first, but don’t get sidetracked with that quite yet.

Each desert temple has a long drop below the purple clay in the center of the floor. Don’t drop straight down or you’ll fall on the pressure plate, causing an explosion that will destroy all of the treasure.

If you can reach the bottom without setting off the explosion, you’ll be able to loot the chests for an enchanted book, a saddle, emeralds, an enchanted gold apple, and gold and diamond horse armor.

The Mesa Biome

Now you can get sidetracked with the mesa biome. Mesas are one of the more rare biomes, and one of the more beautiful ones in  my opinion. They’re made up of different colored clay and red sand. Besides just being beautiful, they’re also very useful.

In mesas, you can find gold at any level, not just deep down. They also have quite a few abandoned mineshafts near the surface. You can find the beginning of your first one at 295 / 67 / 620. Be careful because this entrance leads right to a spider’s nest.

Mesa abandoned mineshafts are different than regular ones because they’re made with dark wood instead of oak wood. They still have chest minecarts, though. Explore to see if you can find any for yourself.

I hope you enjoy the different highlights of this seed. You can continue to look around for other cool sights!
